Obituary

F.E. Beitz, Jr. Of Redfield, Arkansas was born September 20, 1922 in Little Rock, Arkansas the son of the late Fred Ernest Beitz, Sr. And Addie Gibbs Beitz. He was a member and Deacon of Redfield Missionary Baptist Church, was a charter member of the Interstate Towing Association, a member of American Legion, the Mid-South Car Club and T Model Club of Arkansas. He was a Colonel in the Confederate Air Force and was a Sgt. In the United States Army Air Corp and was a MIA and POW while he served. He enjoyed his church work and he always found the good in everyone.

Mr. Beitz died at the John L. McClellan Veterans Hospital in Little Rock at the age of 91.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Samuel (Skeet) Beitz and a sister-in-law, Dove Beitz.

Survivors: loving wife of 64 years, Helen Marie Gibbs Beitz of Redfield; daughter, Judy Beitz Walderns and husband Ronnie of Woodson; granddaughters, Rhonda Smith, Amy Davidson and husband Gerald; great grandchildren, Caleb Smith and Madison Smith and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, December 20, 2013 at Redfield Missionary Baptist Church in Redfield with Bro. John Mooney officiating. Burial will follow at Redfield Cemetery. Visitation will be prior to the service from 1:00 until service time at the church.
