Obituary

Floyd Thomas Evans of Redfield, Arkansas was born February 5, 1952 in Pine Bluff Arkansas, the son of Anna Berg Evans Salley and the late Floyd Thomas Evans, Sr. He was a member of Immanuel Missionary Baptist Church at Sheridan, a conductor for Union Pacific Railroad and a member of the UTU. Floyd also loved supporting mission work, hunting and fishing, and "piddlin' in his shop". Floyd was most proud of his wife and sons whom he loved with all his heart.

Mr. Evans died Monday, January 10, 2005 in Camden, Arkansas at the age of 52 .

Memorials may be made to Immanuel Missionary Baptist Church Youth or Missions Fund, 206 East Holly, Sheridan, Arkansas 72150. The family will be at the home of Tom and Pat Reed, 1401 Hart Drive, Pine Bluff, Arkansas (870) 247-4856.

Funeral Services will held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, January 13, 2005 at Immanuel Missionary Baptist Church in Sheridan with Bro. Bob Harper, Bro. Jason Smith, and Bro. Carter Pearce officiating. Burial will be in Orion Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 5-8 P.M. at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan. Pallbearers; Chris Gartman, Tom Reed, Carl Ward, Chad Gill, Jason Gill, Justin Flumn, Mike Davis and Donald Gene Clark.Arrangements by Memorial Gardens Funeral Home of Sheridan (870) 942-1306.
