Frances Westlake Harrel, of Little Rock, Arkansas, was born on Sunday, February 9, 1919 in Manley, Iowa , the daughter of the late Harry and Katie Ludwig Westlake. She died on Saturday, August 29, 2009 in Little Rock at age 90.

She was a retired secretary for Haverty Furniture Company and a member of Ironton Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Harry Westlake, Jr.; Bill Westlake and Robert Westlake.

Survivors are her husband of 70 years: Winford Harrel of Little Rock

Daughter: Carolyn Carey of Little Rock

Granddaughters: Alana McGinness and husband John of Benton

Susan Walls of Little Rock

Two Great-granddaughters: Brooke McGinness and Courtney Walls

Funeral Services will be Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at 2 PM at Ironton Baptist Church in Little Rock with Dr. Sidney Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Ironton Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the church on Monday evening from 5 until 7 PM.
