The longing for her eternal home became a reality on Saturday, March 22, 2014, when Frances Hester Hayden gladly traded her life on earth to meet her Lord and Savior and many loved ones. She was born in Trafalgar, Arkansas, to Clara Bates Alldread and James S. Sparks on March 25, 1921. Frances and Roland Hester married in 1939 and spent most of their life in Fountain Hill and Hamburg, Arkansas. Many remember Hester's Restaurant on the square in Hamburg where great food was served and lasting friendships were made. Frances was predeceased in death by her parents, and husbands Roland Hester in 1964 and Henry Hayden in 1995. Also five sisters; Estene King, Mary Lou Chambers, Veda Mae Jordan, Eloise Baker, Margie Morgan and two brothers; Dewey Sparks and Guy Alldread, Jr..

Survivors include three daughters, Monah Oliver Hankins of Idabel, OK., Brenda Ferguson of Hot Springs, AR, and Mary Dorsey (Ervin) of Sagle, ID. Two sons, Bill Hester (Charlotte), of Monroe, LA, Dale Hester (Cathy) of Crossett, AR. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; Greg and Brad Oliver (Kim) of Idabel, OK; Kayla Battistelli (Rick) of Lafayette, CO, Brett Hester (Brandy) and Kristen Derr (Jacque), of Olla, LA; April Deer (William) of Drummond, TN; Kendrah Ferguson of Ft. Smith, AR; Kasey Ferguson of Hot Springs, AR; Suni Crawford (Beau) of Coeur d' Alene, ID, and Sky Dorsey of Pocatello, ID., and in addition two step-grandchildren; Heather Schneller of Fayetteville, AR, and Jackie Schneller of Colombia, MO. She was also blessed with 21 great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held by Memorial Gardens Funeral Home of Sheridan, AR, at Flat Creek Cemetery in Fountain Hill, Arkansas, on Saturday, March 29th, at 2:00p.m.
