Frances Lucinda Lewis Lisenbey of Sheridan, Arkansas was born February 5, 1924 in Sheridan, Arkansas, the daughter of the late William Edward and Minnie Ann Smith Lewis. She was a member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Sheridan. She enjoyed cooking, going to the horse and dog races, and spending time loving on her children and grandchildren. She had retired from Fiser's Grocery after many years of being a cashier.
Ms. Lisenbey died Monday, November 6, 2017 at Sheridan Healthcare and Rehab at the age of 93.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Alvis Lisenbey.
Survivors: sons, James and wife Glenda Lisenbey and Harlin Lisenbey; sister, Betty Mitchell all of Sheridan; 3 grandchildren, James Alvis Lisenbey, Jr., Jeffrey Alan Lisenbey, Melissa Kaye Word; great grandchildren, Lauren Carey, Rebecca Wallace, Jamison Lisenbey, Olivia McIver, Reese Lisenbey, Christian Word; great great grandchildren, Drake Espinoza, Demi Carey, Hayden Wallace and Elyssa Wallace and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Friday, November 10, 2017 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Sheridan with Bro. Stacy Lisenbey officiating. Burial will follow at Philadelphia Cemetery in Prattsville. Visitation will be Thursday night from 6:00 -8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are David Goss, Brooks Lisenbey, Claude Lisenbey, Lee Lisenbey, Roy Clark, Stanley George, Havis George and Clyde Lisenbey.
