Obituary
Frank J. Miller of Sheridan, Arkansas was born September 3, 1946 in Pine Bluff, the son of Annie Mayer Miller and the late Frank M. Miller. He was an active member of Meadowview Baptist Church, graduated from White Hall High School in 1964 and from Arkansas A&M, which is now University of Arkansas at Monticello in 1968.
Frank was a loving, compassionate and sentimental man who never met a stranger. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren and his church family very much. He enjoyed spending time fishing, hunting, practice shooting, reading, and in his later years having coffee with his friends. He loved to keep up with his classmates thru emails.
Frank died Monday, February 27, 2012 at his home at the age of 65.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Jaclyn Miller Hurt.
Survivors: Wife, Diane Young Miller of Sheridan;
Son, Charles (Jennifer) Miller of Benton;
Brother, John W. (Sherry) Miller of Pine Bluff;
Mother, Annie Miller of White Hall;
3 grandchildren, Samantha and Benjamin Miller and Brandon Hurt and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with Bro. Micah McKinley, Bro. Johnie Brewster and Bro. John Mooney officiating. Burial will follow at Ain Cemetery in Grapevine. Visitation will be Tuesday, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to caregivers, Shirley Denis and Emma Carter and also Arkansas Hospice Staff and nurse Roma Simmons. Also, a very special thank you goes to Lunsford Auto as well as Frank's friends and neighbors for being there to help out when needed.
Memorials may be made to Meadowview Baptist Church, 9914 Hwy 270 East, Sheridan, AR 72150.
Pallbearers are John Lunsford, David Lunsford, Robert Lunsford, John Miller, Keith Grimes and Michael Grimes. Honorary pallbearers will be Joseph Mayer and Anthony Mayer.
The family will be at the home of Charles and Becky Lunsford, 8401 Hwy 270 East, Sheridan, AR 72150.
