Frantz Earnest "Butch" Moore

Frantz Earnest "Butch" Moore III of Sheridan, Arkansas, was born August 16, 1951, in Little Rock, Arkansas the son of the late Frantz Earnest Moore Jr. and Violet Loise Hall Fleming. Butch worked as an over-the-road truck driver for most of his life spending countless hours hauling all across the country. When he wasn't on the road in his rig, he was on the road riding his bike or back home wrenching on a classic. Butch also enjoyed fishing and had a servant's heart, always willing to give the shirt off his back for his family and anyone in need. 

Butch passed away peacefully at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff, AR, Friday August 14, 2026, two days before his 75th birthday.

He is preceded in death by his father Frantz Earnest Moore Jr., his brother Michael Moore, and his grandparents. Butch is survived by his mother Violet Loise Hall Fleming, daughter Christy May Moore, brother Marshall (Loise) Moore, sister Grace Moore, grandchildren Isiah, Savannah, and Logan, friends as close as family Aubry (Candy) Maddux, along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Sheridan. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until service time. Interment service will follow at Bethel South Cemetery.
