Obituary

Frieda Faye Thornton Heath of Sheridan, Arkansas formerly of Hermitage, Arkansas was born April 3, 1956 in Warren, Arkansas to the late Troy and Faye Reynolds Thornton. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Sheridan and was a Quality Control Inspector for Kohler.

She married Randy F. Heath of Hampton, Arkansas on September 13, 1975 at Landmark Baptist Church in Hermitage, Arkansas. They first met on April 3, 1971.

Mrs. Heath died at her home on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 in Sheridan at the age of 64.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Kathy Gail McNew.

Survivors: husband, Randy F. Heath of Sheridan; brother, Ken W. (Lenita) Thornton of Hermitage; brothers in-law, Pete (Monica) Heath of Hampton, Eddie Rowe of Crossett; sister-in-law, Janie Brown of Hampton; special son, Bart (Tammy) Batchelor of Big Creek Community, a host of nephews, nieces, grand nephews and nieces and two great grand nephews, church family and friends.

Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Gary Copeland and Bro. Michael Walton officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 9:00 until service time. Burial will be at 3:00 P.M. Tuesday at Union Grove Cemetery, Calhoun County Road #137 in Harrell, Arkansas.

Pallbearers are Gene Nelson, Tommy Hazzard, Bill Talbert, Keith Throneberry, Rayvon Vailes and Danny Huntley. Honorary pallbearers are Terry Reynolds, Jim Thompson, IBC Men's Worship Group, and Center Grove Water Association Directors and Employees.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to be made to the National Kidney Foundation, Cancer Care or Saline Memorial Hospice.

Special thanks go to the UAMS Medical Center and Saline Memorial Hospice for all the loving care given to Frieda.

A very dear and heartfelt thank you from the family to the Immanuel Baptist Church family for always being by our side throughout this journey. We couldn't have made it without each and every one of you. Also a special thanks to all of our families and friends who have supported us and been there with us.
