Garoll E "Gary" Harp of Sheridan, AR was born in Kansas March 31, 1950 the son of the late Fred Harp and Rita Harp Townsend. He was a proud veteran and served in the National Guard for 28 years. He worked as a truck driver, owned a pawn shop and was a bondsman for most of his life. Gary was also a mason and a faithful follower of the lord. He was an avid fisherman and loved to ride his motorcycle any chance he could. Gary leaves behind many family members and friends, he will be deeply missed.

Garoll passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday June 22, 2024 at the age of 74.

In addition to his parents, he is proceeded in death by his son Gary William Harp; sister Jeanie Holmes Harp; step-daughter, Cindy Crain. He is survived by his wife of 29 years Sharon K Harp, daughter Carol Harp of Clinton, stepsons Timothy (Christina) Burdess and Matthew Burdess, 13 grandchildren, 8 greatgrandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with Bro. James Lybrand officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 until service time.

Honorary pallbearers are Britta and Elijah Funderburg.
