Gary David Funderburg of Grapevine, Arkansas was born May 20, 1953 in Pine Bluff, the son of the late Coy Lee and Neria Dale Lowman Funderburg. He was a member of Cedar Branch Missionary Baptist Church and later Salem Missionary Baptist Church. He worked for the railroad for over 42 years but around the house he was known as Mr. Fix It for his ability to fix anything he laid his hands on. He also thoroughly enjoyed woodworking, fishing, working his bees, and cutting up logs at his sawmill. Above all, he loved his family and spending time with all his kids, grandkids, and great grandkids, he will be dearly missed.

Gary passed away peacefully at his home with his family at the age of 72.

He was preceded in death by his parents Coy Lee and Neria Dale Funderburg.

Survivors include his wife, Melba Moltz Funderburg; son, Jeremy (Kristina) Funderburg; daughter, Conelia (Bob) Williamson; brothers, Hugh (Sherry) Funderburg, Charlie Funderburg; sister, Vicky (Ronnie) Lightsey; 8 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and a host of extended family members and friends.

At his wishes, the family will have a private service at a later date.
