Gene Winfield Bailey of Prattsville, Arkansas was born January 20, 1988 in Benton, the son of Stephen Claude Bailey and Tammy Earnest Bailey. He attended Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church in Prattsville. He enjoyed fishing, riding 4-wheelers, watching the Razorbacks play and scratching off scratch off tickets.

Gene passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock at the age of 36.

He was preceded in death by his aunt, Tena Bailey Cullins; nephew, Kyle Brice Ray; uncle, Daniel Earnest and grandparents, Troy and Effie Mae Bailey.

Survivors: parents, Steve and Tammy Bailey of Prattsville; brother, Timothy Bailey (Meghan) of Prattsville; sister, Amy Bailey and fiancé, Brandon Shackleford of Prattsville; maternal grandparents, Gene and Louise Earnest of Prattsville; nephews, Hunter Ray, Braxton Ray, Lane Bailey, Bryce Bailey; niece, Mackenzie Bailey and a host of extended family members and friends.

Funeral service will be Monday, June 24, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with visitation prior to the service from 9:00 A.M. until service time.
