George Edmond "Sonny" Mason, Jr. of Little Rock, Arkansas was born July 21, 1926 in Little Rock, the son of the late George E. Mason, Sr. and Ola Ashley Mason. He enjoyed gardening, sitting outside, mowing, and animals. He was a milkman for Coleman Dairy for many years.

Mr. Mason died Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at Sheridan Healthcare and Rehab at the age of 88.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Mason, a grandson, "Little Eddie" Mason, a brother, Howard Mason and a sister, Helen York.

Survivors: son, Eddie and wife Marilyn Mason of Jefferson; daughters, Dianne and husband Rick Jones of Hensley, Kaye and husband Tim Simpson of Little Rock, Paula Randle of Bryant; grandchildren, Rick Jones, Jr., Kara Maack, Kyle Simpson, Kim Miller, Daniel Vermilion, Matt Vermillion, and Anna Howard; great grandchildren, Ryne Horton, Justin Crews, Carter Maack, Laiken Miller, Jaxon Miller, Jacob Simpson, Jolie Simpson, Mason Varmillion, Aiden Vermillion and Corban Ward and a host of friends.

Graveside services will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, April 10, 2015 at Bethel Cemetery in the Ico Community. Visitation will be prior to the service at the funeral home from 11:00 until 12:30 P.M.
