George L. Luzader of Leola, Arkansas was born October 30, 1940 in Hot Springs, Arkansas the son of the late Dewey and Anna Pearl Paul Luzader. He was a member of the Leola Missionary Baptist Church, a Mason, and enjoyed playing tennis and riding horses. He had worked at Nabisco for many years and had served in the Army National Guard.
Mr. Luzader died Monday, July 27, 2015 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock at the age of 74.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Ed and Wayne Luzader.
Survivors; wife of 52 years, Peggy Keedy Luzader of Leola; son, Landon Luzader of Leola; daughter, Angie Wasson (Craig) of Bismarck; brother, Paul Luzader of Carthage; sisters, Leona Crisco of Bismarck and Iona Jones of Bryant; grandchildren, Amber Hudson, April Rowton, Holly Baker, Dillon Luzader and Cheyenne Luzader; great grandchildren, Major Hudson, Carlie Baker and Lyam Luzader and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, July 31, 2015 at Leola Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Richard Sullivant officiating. Burial will follow at Leola Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are Wayne Cates, Mat Powell, Dan Holland, Bob Logan, Doyle McKinney, and Elbert Deer. Honorary pallbearer is Clark Phillips.
