Georgia Faye Stroup Skodzenski of Sheridan, Arkansas was born March 5, 1943, in Bauxite, the daughter of the late John and Leora Bumgardner Stroup. She was a member of Little Creek Missionary Baptist Church and was a retired custodian. She enjoyed shopping and eating out.

Georgia died Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at her home at the age of 80.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Skodzenski; sister, Johnnie Loretta McCool; grandson, Travis Harris;  granddaughter, Laurie Skodzenski.

Survivors: sons, Jerry Harris, Jr. (Crystal), Terry Harris, Troy Harris all of Sheridan; daughters, Becky Brooks (Tommy) of Sheridan, Jamie LaCotts (Matthew) of Dewitt; brother, Virgil Stroup of Utah and several grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends.

Funeral service will be Monday, August 28, 2023 at 10:00 A.M.  at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with Bro. Calvin Holmes officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 9:00 until service time. Burial will be at Orion Cemetery near Redfield.

Pallbearers are Terry Harris, Jerry Harris, Troy Harris, Dylan Harris, TJ Harris and Matthew LaCotts.
