Gerald Wayne James of Sheridan, Arkansas was born August 8, 1972 in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was the son of the Brenda Glover and the late Gerald James. He was a member of Corinth Missionary Baptist Church in Sheridan. He loved to fish, hunt, and play x box.

Mr. James died at his home on February 15, 2021 at the age of 48.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald James.

Survivors: wife of 30 years, Lea Stone James of Sheridan; son, Zach James (Kristen) of Sheridan; daughter, Samantha James of Sheridan; mother, Brenda Glover of Conway; brothers, Justin James (Elizabeth) of Alabama, Greg James (Wendy) of Cabot, Chris James (Trisha) of Conway; sister, Brandy Hook of Conway; 3 grandchildren, Ryan Padgett, Penelope James, Linc James and a host of friends.

Funeral service will be 12 Noon on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with Bro. Robert Cossey officiating. Burial will follow at Corinth Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 11:00 until 12:00 noon, prior to the service.
