Gerald James of Sheridan, Arkansas was born July 24, 1944 in Cotton Plant, Arkansas he son of the late Arthur Berry and Lottie Mae Cook James. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish and hunt.

Mr. James died August 5, 2012 at his home in Sheridan at the age of 68.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Thomas James, Donald James, Arthur James, Jr., and Leslie James and sisters, Kathryn McBride, Betty James Polston and Geraldean James, his twin sister.

Step-son, Marvin and wife Roxanne Stone of Sheridan;
Jerry and wife Sharon Stone of Bryant;
Step-daughter, Lisa and husband Kevin Anthony of Sheridan;
Brothers, Wesley James of Lonoke; Clifford James of Hazen,
Sisters, Juanita James Durham of Lonoke, Margaret James Gann of Jacksonville, Martha James Ellis of Benton and Mary James Ferrall of Jacksonville;
14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, August 9, 2012 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until service time.
