On July 4, 1935, GOD blessed this earth with a beautiful Ball of fire, Geraldine Anne Nelson, since that time we would always set off fireworks in her honor each year. On February 12 ^th , 2022 Gerrie went to heaven to help Harvey once again Get his paperwork in order. Gerri was greeted at Heavens gates by the guy that stole her heart Harvey C Nelson. Her mother Bernadine, father Robert Small, her brothers, Al, Louie, and Howard and her sisters, Neva, Nora, and Silvia, all of whom professed Christ as their savior.

Gerri is survived by her Sister June Floyd, Daughters and Son Judy Lynne Patterson of Richardson TX, Sharon Markham of Mabelvale, Harvey David Nelson of Sheridan, and her daughter in Love Frances Nelson. She also had 7 Grandchildren, 9 Grand pups, 13 great grandchildren's and one Great Great grandson.

While in the US Air Force and stationed at Randolph Air Base in San Antonio, Texas.  This young lady from New York met a young GI from Arkansas and they were married on March 29, 1955.   At that time in history a couple could not be married and both be in the service, Gerri gracefully took her place as the housewife.

She was a mystifying lady that loved to share her faith with everyone she met. She was a mighty prayer warrior and Bible teacher. Gerri was an incredible writer. She has written, hosted and led many bible studies in her home as her wisdom flourished in the Lord. There are numerous people all over the world that have been blessed by the crocheted and handmade items from Gerri.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in Lost Creek Cemetery.  Visitation is Monday, 6:00-8:00 P.M.
