Glen Edward Talbert of Sheridan, Arkansas was born March 24, 1945 in Carthage, the son of the late Edward H. and Eula Orr Talbert. He was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church but attended church at First Landmark Baptist Church in Sheridan.

Glen was retired from the timber industry. He really enjoyed fishing and hunting, but his passion was playing golf with his friends.

Glen Edward died Monday, November 20, 2023 at his home at the age of 78.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa Talbert and his brother-in-law, Pat Kauffman.

Survivors: son and daughter-in-law, Shannon and Jennifer Talbert of Sheridan; sister, Janie Kauffman of Benton; step daughter, Bridgett (Brian) Williams of Sheridan; step-son, Gray Allen of Sheridan; best friend, Julie Allen of Sheridan; grandchildren, Holly Logan, Callie (Adam) Mote, Corbin (Evan) Thompson, Dawson Talbert, Emery Talbert, Lyla Grove, Grant Allen; great grandchildren, Jovi, Luke and a host of extended family members and friends.

Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Monday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with Bro. Shawn Hill officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 10:00 until service time. Burial will follow at Hampton Springs Cemetery near Carthage.
