IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Glenn Denison
May
September 12, 1947 – March 28, 2020
Glenn Denison May, 72, of Redfield, Arkansas departed this life on March 28, 2020. He was born September 12, 1947 to the late Dorothy Murdock May and C.E. May of Hensley, Arkansas.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Dewana Sue May; a son, Jack May (Carina Davis) and their children, Grant May, Jonathan May, Natalie Davis and Ryan Davis, all of Fredericksburg, Virginia. He is also survived by a brother, Danny J. Wells (Linda) of Redfield; nieces, nephews, and their families; and Nedra Hopper, a sister-in-law and caregiver.
He is preceded in death by his parents and stepfather, Frank Bowman and a sister, Jo Ann Shope and many friends who visited him over the years.
Glenn attended school at Hensley, Fuller High School, and vocational school. After serving in the U.S. Army, he continued his career as a journeyman electrician with IBEW Local 295 until his disability with Multiple Sclerosis.
He was a member of Redfield Missionary Baptist Church, and a loyal viewer of church services on television. As he was confined to a wheelchair for 35 years, he shared his love for Christ with anyone. "Absent from the body, present with The Lord" was how he said he viewed death.
Many thanks to VA Home Based Primary Care (HBPC) for many years of quality health care.
Due to the Covid 19 Virus, there will be no visitation. There will be a basket at the service to place cards or condolence notes.
Honoring his wishes, Graveside services will be held at Orion Cemetery, at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, April 1, 2020
