Gloria Gail Owens

Gloria Gail Stevens Owens of Sheridan, was born September 13, 1954 in Sparkman, the daughter of the late Charles and Evelyn Tuberville Stevens. She was a retired Certified Nursing Assistant and a member of Restoration Church. She enjoyed being a caregiver to her patients and her children, grandchildren and her family.

Ms Owens died January 12, 2026 at Saline Memorial Hospice at the age of 71.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Eve Brooks, Lynn Anderton, Charlene Thomason; brothers, Tommy Stevens, Chuck Stevens, Chester Stevens; special friend, Marsha Parker; life partner, James Travis Owens; 2 angel great grandbabies; 2 fur babies, Buddy and Bailey.

Survivors: sons, James Holmes (Kelly) of Sheridan, Joe Owens (Windee) of Texas, Jason Owens (Kristi) of Tennessee; daughters, Angela Harrison of Redfield, Kelley Self (David Thompson) of Sheridan; husband, Kenneth Allen of Sheridan; sisters, Marion Cooper of Atkins, Sharon Anders of Prattsville; 15 grandchildren; 17 great great grandchildren as well as a host of extended family members and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday, January 23, 2026 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Thomason and Bro. Michael Walton officiating. Visitation is from 1:00 until service time.
