Gordon Lee Brodsky of Sheridan, Arkansas was born June 29, 1945 at Putnam, Connecticut, the son of the late William and Lillian Zeba Brodsky. He was a proud Veteran of the United States Army, and was a retired civil engineer. He enjoyed photography and spending time in nature. He was an avid shopper who was always looking for a good deal. He would attend auctions, buy, sell, and barter, and enjoyed every minute of it.
Mr. Brodsky died Thursday, November 26, 2020 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, at the age of 75. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Carey Brodsky.
Survivors include his sons, Gordon Lee Brodsky II or Hot Springs, David Brodsky of Sheridan, Jonathan Brodsky (April) of Sheridan; daughter, Katey Reid (Buck) of Sheridan; mother of his children, Kathey Brodsky Wooley of Sheridan; brothers, Butch Brodsky of Maryland, Dennis Brodsky (Mary Ellen) of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Maurice Brodsky (Insun) of Sheridan; sisters, Charlene Windsor (Leroy) of Sheridan, Catherine "Kitten" Brown; grandchildren, Sara Long (Steven), Andrew Brodsky, Ryan Foster, Trevor Foster, Meaghan Brodsky, Braiden Reid, Austin Reid, Lillian Reid, Ashlynn Reid; 2 great grandchildren, Emily Long, Owen Long; special friend and companion, Sheri Lewis of Sheridan.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday at the Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation is 9:00-10:00 A.M. prior to the service. A private family burial will be held at the Arkansas Veteran's Cemetery.
