Gordon Buster Whitaker of Sheridan, Arkansas was born March 18, 1937 in Avawam, Kentucky the son of the late Gordon B. And Dora Boggs Whitaker. He was retired from Trinity Industries as General Manager.

Mr. Whitaker died Sunday, February 5, 2006 at his home at the age of 68. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Bill Whitaker and a sister Mary Katherine Whitaker.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 8, 2006 at 2:00PM at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan with Bro. Michael Walton officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation 5-8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Eric Harness, Aaron Vice, Robby Davis, Roy Rash, Steven Howell and Kris Howell.
