Willie Grace Vailes Nugent Stratton of Sheridan, Arkansas was born June 6, 1931. She was born and raised in the Ain Community where she went on to raise her children. She was a homemaker. Grace was of the Baptist faith and she loved to sing.

Grace died Friday, October 23, 2020 in Star City at the age of 89.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Ludie Vailes, two brothers, four sisters, and a daughter, Mildred Nugent. She was also preceded in death by her first husband and father of her children, Everett Nugent and her husband, Claud Stratton.

Survivors include two sons, Wayne (Glenda) Nugent of Missouri, Shayne (Tiffany) Nugent of Sheridan; three daughters, Evelyn (Serge) Fachin, Marilyn Fitzwater both of Sheridan, Patti (Lee) Blundell of Star City; two step-daughters, Barbara (Tom) Evans and her family from Star City and Karen Stratton of Roland; eight grandchildren, Lara (Jeff) Buehler, Amy (Jeff) Sutter, Chris (Samantha) Wingard, Meggan (Kevin) Murphy, Crystal Blundell, Abby (Zack) Whitaker, Joey Nugent, Kamryn (Bradley) Stane; 13 great grandchildren, Patience, Gracen, Louis, Sam, Clementine, Braxton, Max, Gannyn, Isabella, Eli, Lila, Remi, Charli, and a sister Nora Joyce Nunn of Irving, Texas, and a host of nieces, nephews and many friends.

Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at Ain Missionary Baptist Church in Grapevine with Joey Nugent and Bro. Ronnie Grisby officiating. Burial will follow at Ain Cemetery. Visitation will be prior to the service from 1:00 until service time.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.

The family will be at the home of Marilyn Fitzwater, 7016 Grant 75, Sheridan, AR 72150.
