Gregory Nolan “Greg” Dunlap of Sheridan, Arkansas was born May 25, 1956 in Lima, Ohio, the son of the late Nolan Eugene and Hulda Catherine Rogers Dunlap. Greg loved his community and they definitely loved him too. He was blessed with a God-given talent to bring ideas and plans to life. In his contracting business, he didn’t just build houses, but rather, he transformed dreams into homes. His attention to detail was incredible, and he always had a way of adding in those extra special touches that elevated his homes beyond what most folks would even ever expect. His work was precise and he refused to settle with things that were just passable or O.K.. Everything that had his name and reputation on it, had to meet his exacting standards. When not building homes, he was at home working in his shop. His passion was restoring, showing, and enjoying his award winning vintage automobiles (and he had plenty of trophies to prove it). Greg cherished his family, and was so proud of them all. He attended Immanuel Baptist Church in Sheridan. He had a smile as big as his heart, and make no mistake, ALS didn’t win anything. Greg was victorious over it, and Heaven was his reward.

Greg died Saturday, October 24, 2026 at UAMS Medical Center in Little Rock at the age of 70 after a courageous battle with ALS.
