Gregory "Greg" Harvey Vermilyea of Sheridan, Arkansas was born February 25, 1952 at East Los Angeles, California, the son of the late Tom and Asta Vermilyea. He was of the Pentecostal faith, and had worked for Tyson Foods in Pine Bluff. Greg enjoyed sports, collecting baseball cards, reading old comic books and motorcycle magazines.

Mr. Vermilyea died Thursday, November 10, 2011 at Sheridan Nursing and Rehabilitation Center at the age of 59.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Worthen Vermilyea; son, Jeffrey Vermilyea; daughter, Katie Vermilyea; in-laws, D.L. and Pam Worthen, all of Sheridan; brothers, Jeff and wife Beverly Chodos of Alta Loma, California.

A time of visitation will be held, Sunday, November 13, 2011 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Sheridan from 4:00-6:00 p.m.. There will be no other public services held. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
