Gregory Justin Hicks of Sheridan, Arkansas was born March 8, 1972 in Benton, Arkansas, the son of James Eddis Hicks, Sr. and Bonita Mae McGarrah. He was an active member of Sheridan Church of Christ, where he served his Lord by working with the young people. He was an electrician and he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding motorcycles.

Greg died Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock at the age of 43.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Fred and Mattie McGarrah and Eddis and Katie Hicks.

Survivors: daughter, Jordan Hicks of Searcy; mother, Bonita McGarrah of Sheridan; father and 2nd mother, James Eddis Hicks, Sr. and Linda of Sheridan; brothers, James E. Hicks, Jr. and wife Karen of Sheridan , Randall Ray and wife D'ya of Louisiana, Clyde Ray and wife Erlinda of Sheridan; step-sisters, Cindy Wingard and husband Deral of Sheridan, Kim Aldrich and husband Tom of Hot Springs, Debbie Burgamy and husband Lee of Burleson, Texas; half-sister, Susan Brown and husband Bobby of Malvern; special friend, Elaine Sheppard and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, church family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, October 11, 2015 at 3:00 P.M. at Sheridan Church of Christ with Tom Warmack, Dave Walters and Gary Clowers officiating. A time of visitation will be prior to the service from 2:00 until service time.
