Obituary

Harold Melton "Bill" Brown, Sr., of Sheridan, Arkansas was born November 1, 1919 at Humphrey, Arkansas, the son of the late Jesse Edwin and Rebecca Abbott Brown. He died April 29, 2005 at Baptist Medical center in Little Rock at the age of 85 years.

He was a member of Lost Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Sheridan; was a retired Livestock and Farm Equipment Dealer; Past President of Grant County Farm Bureau; Past President of Grant County Cattleman's Association and was a member of Masonic Lodge, Jacob Brump 160 at Pine Bluff.

Survivors: Wife: Thelma Lee Mayhugh Brown of Sheridan, 2 sons: Hal Brown of Kansas City, Missouri and Jim Ed Brown of Wilma, Arkansas;
Brother, Jesse E. Brown of Lonoke, Arkansas
Two sisters: Miriam Brown of West Memphis, Arkansas and Barbara Ann Volner of Lake Village, Arkansas
5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren

Funeral Services will be Tuesday, May 3, 2005 at 2:00 PM at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan, with Rev. Scott Thomas officiating. Burial in Lost Creek Cemetery at Sheridan.
