Harold "Doodle Bug" Pearson of Prattsville, Arkansas was born July 16, 1946 in Clarksville, Arkansas, the son of the late Grattis and Martha Hudson Pearson. He died at his home on January 2, 2020.

He was a member of Poyen Missionary Baptist Church and a graduate of Prattsville High School.

He was affectionately known all over the country as "Doodle Bug". He loves showing horses, and sharing his metalwork and garden goodies with his friends and family. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting and sharing stories.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Pearson Buie; brothers, Bill Pearson and Dennis Pearson and his best friends, Mike Stephens and Wesley Webb.

Survivors: sisters, Blanche Snow of Mount Ida, Ginger (Paul) Hollinger of Prattsville; special friend, Gwen Sell and her daughter, Cammie and a special "niece", Leslie Stephens Kervin of Prattsville and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 4, 2020 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Don Goodman officiating. Burial will follow at Jacob Cemetery. Visitation will be prior to the service from noon until service time.

Pallbearers are Brian Pearson, Danny Reynolds, Johnny Hopkins, Larry Bennings, Coy McDould, and Chase Buie. Honorary pallbearer is Randy Buie.
