Harold “Curly” Lee Clark, 76, of Sheridan, Arkansas, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a lifetime of hard work, love, and devotion to his family. Harold was born on March 28, 1949, in Bauxite, Arkansas, to Carrie Estelle Clark and Nathan Leon Clark. He often joked that the biggest spiders in the world lived around Bauxite, a claim he never stopped believing.

In 1956, Harold moved with his family to Sheridan, where he grew up and later graduated from Sheridan High School in 1968. After graduation, he spent his life working honest blue-collar jobs, including mining, logging, and especially construction, where his strong work ethic and reliability earned the respect of everyone who knew him.

In 1969, Harold married the love of his life, Betty Zane Ashcraft. The two shared 56 wonderful years together and were rarely seen apart. Their marriage was a true example of loyalty, friendship, and lasting love.

Harold enjoyed the simple things in life—hunting, fishing, telling stories, and spending time with friends and family. He never needed much to be happy, just the outdoors, good company, and the people he loved most.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carrie Estelle Clark and Nathan Leon Clark, and his daughter-in-law, Amy Clark.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Betty Zane Clark; his two sons, Nathan Clark and Mike Clark; his grandchildren, Eli Clark and Anna Clark; two sisters; and many friends and extended family members who will miss him dearly.

Harold will be remembered for his humor, his hard work, and his deep love for family and friends. His life was simple, strong, and full of meaning, and his memory will live on in all who knew him.
