Helen French of Leola, Arkansas was born April 19, 1939, in Centerville, Ohio, the daughter of the late E.O. and Mayana Cormeney. She was a faithful member of First United Methodist Church in Leola, and she enjoyed sewing, crafting, ceramics, flowers, watching hummingbirds and above all, she loved her family. Helen never met a stranger, she was a loving soul with a servant's heart who could always be found with a smile on her face, she will be dearly missed.

Mrs. French died Monday, October 14, 2024, at CHI St. Vincent Hospital in Hot Springs at the age of 85.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter Shelbie Coiner, sisters Norma Thompson, Betty Edwards, and Charlette Myers, and brothers Vernon, Ed, and Gene Cormeney.

Helen is survived by her husband of 45 years Tony French, her son Tim Jones, daughter Teresa Lemons, stepchildren Cathy Abbot and Jeffrey French, brothers Delbert and Richard Cormeney, Sisters Opie Proctor, Maryann Barnes, and Ruth McKinnis. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and a host of friends.
