Henrietta Atchley Nelson of Sheridan, Arkansas was born February 17, 1933 in Sheridan, the daughter of the late Henry and Ethyl McClung Atchley. She was a member of First Landmark Baptist Church of Sheridan and had previously worked at Grant County Nursing Home as the Social Director and at Wal-Mart in the fabric department. Henrietta enjoyed gospel singing, fishing and socializing at Wal-Mart but the greatest love of her life was making precious memories with her family.

Mrs. Nelson died Thursday, May 1, 2008 at her home at the age of 75.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Dan Atchley and sisters, Marie Strawn, Maxine Skorcz, Betty Clark, Ruby Grooms and Imogene Fabry.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, May 3, 2008 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Sheridan with Bro. Alan Hagood and Bro. Joe Berry officiating. Burial will follow at Center Grove Cemetery. Visitation: 5:00-8:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be nephews: Donald Gene Clark, James Ervin Clark, Dale Clark, Jerry Atchley, Rusty Atchley, Nathan Atchley, Danny Atchley, Tommy Atchley. Honorary Pallbearers: Bobby Grooms, Charles Skorcz.
