Herbert W. West of North Little Rock, Arkansas was born June 11, 1907 in Double Wells, Arkansas the son of the late Edward Martin and Rosa Agnes Caldwell West. He was City Circulation Manager of the Pine Bluff Commercial and a member of The Church at Rock Creek.

Mr. West died at St. Vincents North Hospital in Sherwood at the age of 100.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Williams West, a brother James West and a sister Hazel Ryburn.

Daughter, Rosemary and husband Rev. Bill Briant of North Little Rock;
Grandchildren; Stephanie Lynne Meyer; Shelley Elizabeth Clark and Leah Michelle Brown;
Great Grandchildren; Brenna Elizabeth Clark; Preston Lyle Clark; Matthew Tyler Whitley; Carson Edward Whitley and Clay Brown.

Funeral Services will be Monday, December 24, 2007 at 10:00 AM at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Sheridan with Rev. Mark Evans and Rev. Ed Hinkson officiating. Visitation: 4-6 pm Sunday at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at Philadelphia Cemetery in Prattsville.
