H. L. Irby, Jr., of Hensley, Arkansas was born October 25, 1940 in Mississippi, the son of the late Herbert L. Irby, Sr., and Fannie Mae Harris Irby. He enjoyed restoring antique cars, working in his shop, watching westerns and eating.

Mr. Irby died Sunday, April 7, 2019 at Arkansas Hospice in Little Rock at the age of 78.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Flora Jane Irby; sons, Randy Irby, Stevie Irby; daughters, Janice Irby, Denise Howe; grandchild, Casey Howe and his siblings.

Survivors: wife of 25 years, Patricia St. Peter Irby of Hensley; daughters, Bonnie Davis of Jacksonville, Amanda King (Roger) of Redfield, Robin Lutz (Michael) of Benton; grandchildren, James Allen Davis, Joey Rivera, H.L. Rivera, Kevin Davis, Jeremy Davis, Brandi Howe, Randy Irby, Christi Howe, K.C. Howe, J.T. Howe, Brittney Irby, Tony Lutz and Patricia Rhodes and numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

Graveside service will be Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Little Rock. Visitation: 6-8 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
