Howard Wayne Lybrand, 71, of Gamaliel, Arkansas was born January 13, 1944 in Sheridan, Arkansas, the son of the late Howard and Emily Lybrand of Sheridan. He died Thursday at his home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sisters, Neva Sutton and Nelda Butler.
Mr. Lybrand was a member of First Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Sheridan. He loved spending time with his family, hunting, and spending time on his boat and woodworking.
Survivors, wife, Betty Camp Lybrand; daughter, Jennifer (Stacey) King; sons, Shane Lybrand all of Gamaliel; Tony Lybrand of BeeBe, Kelley Smith (Kathrine) of Bauxite, Mike Smith (Tina) of Texas; daughter, Dana Smith (Neil) of South Dakota, brothers, Ronald Lybrand (Eloyease) of New Orleans, Jim Lybrand (Linda) of Arkansas; 15 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren and a host on nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, July 26, 2015 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be 4-6 pm Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Philadelphia Cemetery, Prattsville, Arkansas.
Pallbearers are Jeff Young, Daniel Smith, Crawford White, Zack Lybrand, Dusten Bodven and Stacey King, Jr.
The family will be at the home of Lynda Camp, 8543 Hwy 270 West, Prattsville, Arkansas 72129.
