Hoyt Yarberry of the Ico Community passed away on August 15, 2006 after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born June 25, 1950 in Hensley to the late Charlie Yarberry and Goldie Spann Yarberry Thomas. He was a master carpenter and cabinetmaker by trade. He was an avid racing fan, driving for CDH Racing Team owned by Dickie Haynes, a hunter and skydiver. He was a member of Lone Pine Baptist Church at Hensley.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a step father, Tom Thomas and two sisters, Goldman Krank and Lola Mae Yarberry.
Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Betty McKown Yarberry; one daughter, Paula Mitchell of Hensley; one granddaughter, Ashley Mitchell; two brothers, Rick Yarberry of Center Ridge and Randy Yarberry of Sheridan; four sisters, Patsy Culp of Benton; Donna Brown of Sheridan; Ola Russenberger of Little Rock, and Ethel Smith of Bonnerdale; an uncle, J.R. Spann of Hensley and countless friends and loved ones.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, August 18, 2006 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan with Bro. Al Michael officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 PM Friday during which time the memorial service will begin at 7:00 P.M.
