Inez Williams Stuckey age 84 of Poyen passed from this life and entered her heavenly home on Tuesday, June 14, 2005 . She was born to John Oliver and Matilda Reynolds Williams on November 8, 1920 at Sweet Home. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Clacil Stuckey, two brothers; Paul Williams and James Williams, one sister; Mavis Williams and a grandson Billy Stuckey.
She is survived by a son; Kenneth and Carolyn Stuckey, a granddaughter; Rhonda and Steve Bohannon and the joy of her life, a great granddaughter, Alyx Bohannon all of Poyen;
Brothers; John B. And Elaine Williams of Sweet Home; Thomas and Nancy Williams of Hope; a Sister; Anna Waldron of Little Rock, sisters-in-law; Dorothy Williams of Sheridan, Elma Mooney and Ila Jordan both of Sweet Home, Noma Holliman of Malvern and Lista Burrow of Johnson City, Tennessee and a host of nieces and nephews and many special friends whom she loved dearly.
She was raised and educated at Sweet Home and lived there until1991 when she moved to Poyen. She was a member of Poyen Missionary Baptist Church, Ladies Adult Sunday School Class, Power and Light Group of her church. She was a joy to be with and lived life to the fullest. She loved God, her family, her church family and friends. She loved to be with young people and enjoyed teaching them about God and nature.
Funeral Services will be 10:00 A.M. Friday, June 17, 2005 at Poyen Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Steve Franklin, Bro. Don Goodman and Bro. Bill Webb officiating. Burial will follow in Philadelphia Cemetery at Prattsville. Visitation 6-8 Thursday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Sheridan. Pallbearers are her nephews, Paul Williams, David Williams, Richard Williams, Larry Williams, Perry Williams and Miles Waldron. Honorary pallbearers are Bob Speer, Lester Webb, Phillip Roark and Lester Edwards.
The family wishes to thank Hospice at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, Home Health and Elders Choice of Grant County for all their love and support they truly gave. Memorials may be made to the Building Fund of Poyen Missionary Baptist Church or the Philadelphia Cemetery Association.
