Ruby Irene Jolly Barnes, of Sheridan, was born November 25, 1933 at Star City, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Isaac and Zora Wilson Jolly. She died at Arkansas Hospice Center in Little Rock, on Friday, September 15, 2006 at the age of 72 years. Mrs. Barnes was a charter member of Richland Missionary Baptist Church at Tillar and was retired after 20 years service at St. Vincent's Infirmary Medical Center at Little Rock. Irene's greatest joy in life was her family. She was preceded in death by a sister, Fredie Avila.

3 grandchildren, Courtney, Kelsey and Jeremiah Barnes

Funeral will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, September 18, 2006 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan, with Bro. Michael Walton officiating. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery near Sheridan. Visitation 4-6 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
