Irene Looney Blake, of Sheridan, Arkansas was born August 12, 1934, to the late Robert and Ruby Looney. Irene passed away on May 19, 2019, at the age of 84.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin, and brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her daughter, Melinda Blake McLarnon (Michael) of Jackson Georgia; son, Randy Blake (Debbie) of Sheridan; grandchildren, Jenny Manning, Bryce Nall (Jennifer), Melissa Taylor (Michael), Abby Brooks (Matt), and Quentin Blake (Jessica); great-grandchildren, Morgan Manning, Kinley Morrow and Lillian Nall, and Trent and Olivia Taylor; a host of nieces and nephews; and her best friend, Jo Hopkins.

Mrs. Blake was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Sheridan.  Her favorite things she loved were crossword puzzles, cooking, sewing, ceramics and genealogy.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, May 22, at 2pm at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Lost Creek Cemetery in Sheridan. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 21, 6-8pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Phil Davenport, Dale Davenport, Larry Jones, Dewey Looney, Wayne Looney, and Bobby Pierce.
