Iva Jewell Poynter Croy of Sheridan, Arkansas was born August 18, 1917 in Dublin, Arkansas the daughter of the late George Alfred and Emily Angeline Bolton Poynter. She was a housewife, a member of Orion Missionary Baptist Church, and a member of Faith Chapter #223 Order of Eastern Star.

Mrs. Croy died Wednesday, July 14, 2004 at Saline Memorial Hospital in Benton at the age of 86.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Norman Terry, her second husband Hershel Croy, daughters, Anna Marie Terry, Lois Ann and Dois Ann Terry and a son, David Allen Terry, brothers; Virgil Poynter, Henry Poynter, and Lindsy Poynter, Sisters; Magnolia Henderson, Viola White and Irene Hill.

She is survived by her son Jack H. Terry and wife June of Benton, step-son Ralph Croy and wife Carolyn, Sister: Laura Titsworth of Moore, Oklahoma

Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM Friday, July 16, 2004 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan with Rev. Gary Self officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel North Cemetery near Sheridan.
