Jack Franklin "Butch" Gwin

Jack Franklin “Butch” Gwin of Bismarck, Arkansas was born July 9, 1951 in Little Rock, the son of the late Jack and Hazel Drake Gwin. He was a retired social worker and was of the Baptist Faith. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being a rugged outdoorsman.

Mr. Gwin died Friday, February 13, 2026 at Amberwood Healthcare and Rehab in Bryant at the age of 74.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Taylor Layne and a brother-in-law, Larry Hedden.

Survivors: son, Cody Gwin (Christina) of Haskell; daughter, Callie Gray (Larry) of Tool, Texas; sisters, Sue Hedden and Jane Gillis (Ronnie) all of Sheridan; Godsons, Patrick and Barred Ratcliff; 5 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild and a host of extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, February 20, 2026 from 6:00-7:00 PM at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
