Obituary

Jack Clinton Ray of Wrens, Georgia formerly of Sheridan, Arkansas was born October 31, 1934 in Liberty, Indiana. He was the son of the late Linley Edgar and Margaret McNair Ray. He worked 20 years for the Arkansas State Highway Department as a maintenance supervisor. He also served 20 years in the US Army having fought in the Vietnam War and was a former Commander of the VFW in Benton. He enjoyed camping, and watching westerns and detective shows on TV.
Jack died Thursday, June 16, 2016 in Ft. Gordon, Georgia at the age of 81.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Keo Ray.

He leaves behind his daughter, Jackie Carroll of Wrens, Georgia, a granddaughter, Jayden Carroll, Lynn Boyd, 4 bonus children and numerous other grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as a host of friends.

Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Sheridan with Bro. Danny Hill officiating. Burial will follow at Lost Creek Cemetery with military honors. Visitation will be Tuesday night from 6:00 until 8:00 at the funeral home.
