Jackie Ray Mosley of Sheridan was born April 1, 1961 to the late Archie Mosley, Sr. and Margie Walters Mosley. He died on April 23, 2026 at Baptist Hospital in Little Rock due to complications from battling cancer for the past eight months.
Jackie graduated Sheridan High School in 1979.
Jackie worked several jobs in his tenure on earth, but his favorite was working for his great, supportive boss, friend and mentor, Rick Christian at Salt Creek Paving from Benton, Arkansas. On the job and off the job his friends were numerous. From childhood to present, once a friend of Jackie’s always a friend of Jackie.
He was extremely loyal in staying connected with his family, friends throughout his life. He invested in people and getting to know them. Jackie’s passion for the past year and a half was joining Ephesus Missionary Baptist Church after being saved many years ago and being baptized, faithfully attending the services, enjoying the body of Christ and reading and learning the Word of God daily.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Archie Mosley, Jr.
Survivors: brothers, Terry Mosley (Missy), Dennis Mosley (Vickie); sisters, Katie Jackson, Helen Mosley and Marylin Easley (Gary Don); uncle, Hershel Walters, aunt, Betty Mosley, nieces, nephews, friends, cousins and church family.
Graveside service will be 11:00 AM on Monday, April 27, 2026 at Jackson Cemetery with Bro. Dennis Fugitt officiating. Visitation will also be at the cemetery from 10:30 until service time.
