James Ervin Clark of Sheridan, Arkansas was born November 29, 1950 at Sheridan, Arkansas, the son of the late James W. and Betty Lou Atchley Clark. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Sheridan, Clark Hunting Club and Hacksaw Hunting Club. He had served in the United States Army National Guard and was a logging foreman and equipment operator.
He loved to hunt and fish and spend time with his grandchildren. In fact, in his large family, he was pretty much a grandpa to all of the kids. Most all of the family has a memory of Ervin calling their first Turkey, and sharing the excitement of their first kill with them. His favorite color was definitely camouflage, because he enjoyed every opportunity he got to spend time surrounded by the beauty, and bounty, God created.
James Ervin died, Monday, February 10, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family, at the age of 69.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
