James Allen Copeland of Sheridan, Arkansas was born September 11, 1950 in Walterboro, South Carolina the son of Jean Webb Reed and the late Bruce Copeland. He was of the Pentecostal faith and had served in the Army having fought in the Vietnam War.

Mr. Copeland died Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at his home at the age of 60. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Rile and Tinnie Webb, a sister, Karen Coutant and a daughter-in-law, Norma Gail Pemberton.

Parents, Jean and Gerald "Jerry" Reed of Sheridan;
Brothers, Greg Reed of Knoxville, Tennessee;

Sisters, Paulette Hogan of LaPorte, Tennessee; Sharon Scruggs of Rock Hill, South Carolina and Cindy Gierth of Arkadelphia;
17 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren

A Memorial Service will be 10:00 A.M Monday, December 13, 2010 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Fred Pemberton, Jr. Officiating.
