James Dean Delk of Sheridan, Arkansas was born January 30, 1954 in Lindsey, California, the son of the late James Monroe and Geraldine Milam Delk. He enjoyed working with his hands, woodworking, carpentry and spending time with his grandchildren.

Mr. Delk died Friday, December 7, 2018 at his home at the age of 64.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Bonnie Delk, and a brother, Gerald Miller.

Survivors: son, Eli Delk; daughter, Shalisa Delk; brother, Andy Miller; sister, Sandra Delk; mother of his children, Sherry Wheeler; mother-in-law, Oneta Sweeden; grandchildren, Katy Jorgensen, Alex Cowles, AJ Delk, Taylor Cowles, Layla Delk, Jaxson Delk; great grandson, Mason Cole and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

A private service will be held at a later date.
