James Hildrey "Buddy" Earnesty of Sheridan, Arkansas was born March 10 , 1965 at Pine Bluff, Arkansas, the son of the late James Henry Earnesty and Leona Crutchfield Earnesty.  He was an avid outdoorsman, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and barbequing. Buddy was a loyal friend to many,  and was always ready and willing to help anyone in need.

Mr. Earnesty died Tuesday, November 8 , 2022 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, at the age of 57.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a nephew, Ian Weidman.

Survivors include his sisters, Tracy Ricketts (Keith) of Benton, Marie Earnesty (George) of Pennsylvania;  nephews and nieces, Brian Ricketts (Kaydi), Ashley Luton (Octavius), Courtney Ricketts (Kirk), Damien Weidman; 5 great nephews and 1 niece.   He is also survived by his best friend, his dog Rufus.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, November 12 , 2022 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan with Bro. Robert Cossey officiating.  Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.  Visitation is Friday , 6:00-8:00 P.M.
