James Lee Fryar of Little Rock, Arkansas was born November 19, 1936, in Sherrill, Arkansas,  the son of the late Jonah and Mattie Emrick Fryar. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family.

Mr. Fryar died Thursday, September 26, 2019 at his home at the age of 82.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Ann McCann Fryar, a grandson, Donnie Boyce and a brother, John Fryar.

Survivors: sons, Michael Fryar of Little Rock, David James (Rita) Fryar of Little Rock; daughters, Brenda (Charlie) Pittman of Scott, Sandra (Red) Boyce of Little Rock; brother, Roy Lee (Toni) Fryar of Little Rock; 6 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Graveside service will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, September 30, 2019 at Woodson Cemetery. Visitation will be also at the cemetery from 1:00-2:00 P.M.
