James Edward Britton of Sheridan, Arkansas was born December 31, 1946 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, the son of the late Johnny W. and Pearl Allbright Britton. He was a member of Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church in Prattsville and had retired from Kohler.

Mr. Britton died Monday, December 24, 2018 at his home at the age of 71.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Allbright and sisters, Garlandine Allbright and Charlotte Raycoff.

Survivors: wife of 34 years, Yvonne Rogers Britton of Sheridan; sons, William Lee III and wife Priscilla of East End, Jeremy Britton and wife Cindy of Sheridan, John Harrison and wife Sandy of Sheridan, Tommy Parker of Marshall, T.J. Parker of Sheridan; daughter, Crystal York and husband Tony of Sheridan; brothers, Johnny Dewayne Britton and wife Yvonne of Pickles Gap, Dubby Allbright of Texas; sisters, Lanell Johnson of Rison; 16 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

A Celebration of his life will be held on his birthday, Monday, December 31, 2018 at noon at his home, 300 Grant 167067, Sheridan.
