Obituary
James Laurns Lee of Hot Springs, Arkansas was born July 14, 1924 in Grapevine, the son of the late James Henry and Mary Jane "Jennie" Lucindy Blackerby Lee. He died Friday, February 17, 2006 at St. Joseph's Mercy Medical Center in Hot Springs at the age of 81.
Mr. Lee was a member of Center Fork Missionary Baptist Church in Hot Springs, had served in the Navy and was a retired switchman for the railroad.
Survivors: Wife, Velma Gean Reynolds Lee of the home;
Daughter, Anita Ann Lee Flynn of Haymarket, Virginia;
Brother, Shelburn F. Lee of White Hall
Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, February 21, 2006 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan, Arkansas with Bro. Lynn Baxter and Bro. Terry Bewley officiating. Burial will follow at Grapevine Cemetery at Grapevine, Arkansas. Visitation: Monday 3-6 PM at the funeral home.
