James Earl Norwood of Sheridan, Arkansas was born February 1, 1939 in Malvern, Arkansas the son of the late Jester and Mildred Draper Norwood. He enjoyed watching Boxing, MMA and gardening on TV.

Mr. Norwood died Sunday, December 19, 2021 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock at the age of 82.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Max, Bill, Jerry, Cecil, and sister Betty Sue.

Survivors: sons, Ray (Joan) Norwood of Georgia, Jeff (Becky) Norwood of Malvern, Tony (Kim) Norwood of Sheridan; daughter Nancy (Joe) Derrick of Benton; brother Donnie Norwood; a sister, Nancy; 8 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.

Graveside service will be 10:00 AM Thursday, December 23, 2021 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Donaldson with Bro. Gary Copeland officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday night from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Pallbearers are Randy Norwood, Jeff Norwood, Tony Norwood, Ray Norwood.
